This summer, CLHI is proudly partnering with the Cooper Medical School at Rowan University‘s PULSE (Pre-Medical Urban Leadership Summer Enrichment) program to host two talented, enthusiastic interns – Priscilla Ahwin and Adam Perez! Priscilla and Adam are building capacity within our community initiatives while also crafting their own health-focused workshops, which will be offered for free to Camden residents!

Join them on Friday, June 29th from 2-4pm for “Building a Stronger Brain,” a workshop dedicated to “learning how to learn!” Priscilla and Adam will teach you about different learning styles, challenging your brain, and improving your ability to absorb and recall information. This workshop is FREE and open to Camden residents of all ages. This will be held in the CLHI Community Room – 1st floor main office of 800 Galindez Court.

Their second workshop, “Depression and Anxiety,” will be on Monday, July 9th from 2-4pm. Priscilla and Adam will define depression and anxiety and help participants understand how to deal with each. Learn about local resources that can help you or those you know who have depression or anxiety. Mental health is so important! This will be held in the CLHI Community Room – 1st floor main office of 800 Galindez Court.

Big thanks to Michael Green and the Cooper Medical School team who made this work possible through PULSE – we are very appreciative!
