The 2022 North Camden Neighborhood Plan. Click here to view.
Through the Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit (NRTC) program of the NJ Department of Community Affairs, Camden Lutheran Housing, Inc. (CLHI) and our local partners seek funds annually to implement the community-driven goals of the North Camden Neighborhood Plan. Each year, our proposal must contain projects that are at least 60% housing and economic development and up to 40% supportive services and/or neighborhood revitalization. CLHI applies for NRTC funding on behalf of North Camden stakeholders, and we invite our North Camden partners to submit projects to CLHI to be included in NRTC. This collaborative approach has built strong partnerships, executed high-impact projects and programs, and increased the capacity of many key organizations to implement the goals of the Neighborhood Plan.

How is NRTC Funded? NJ-based businesses that have $25,000 or more in NJ business income tax liability each year can re-direct those funds into the NRTC program through a competitive process awarding $15 million in tax credits.

We need local companies and financial institutions to support the ongoing implementation of the North Camden Neighborhood plan. If you are an interested business, please see this form for more information. To discuss ways your business can support North Camden projects through the NRTC program, please contact Brandi T. Johnson, CLHI Executive Director at bjohnson@clhi.org or (856) 342-8088.
